THE GROWTH OF BLOGSPHERE!
In early 1999, Peter Melholz announced on his new website! (www.peterme.com) and also think about to adopt the pronouctiation of "wee-blog" (Blood 2000) and become what we know now as "BLOG" (Fleishman 2001).
According to Eric Berlin 2009, Technorati's CEO Richard Jalichandra stated that "the state of Blogsphere is strong". the blogger community is increasing from time to time. and he also noted "the blog is a MEDIA".the ammount of blogging community is increasing drastically from time to time. Lee Hopkins, referred to Technorati for the size of blogsphere,
in early 2005, there are 7.8 million blogs around the world

in January 2006, blogsphere size has increased become 27.2 million blogs.

it was few times bigger than 2005. there are 75,000 new blogs created everyday means that there was a blog created every single second on 2005.
let's see on October 2006, 57 over million weblogs are tracked!!

Dave Sifry who is the founder of Technorati last reported the size of blogsphere in 2007 was 70 million blogs around the world. and in year 2008, wikipedia wrote that Technorati was indexing around 112.8 million blogs.
THERE IS NO APPROXIMATE NUMBER OF BLOG REPORTED IN 2009!!
but i am sure that blogging community will keep increasing drastically again in 2009 as well as in 2010. it might be reached around 200 millions blogs around the world. people has recognized and admitted the usefulness of blog. at first people will only use blog as their diary or personal use. but since the business industry keep growing, the business marketing strategy department tend to have idea to use blog together with other social networking site to create publicity for their product and service. such as fashion industry, how many of them in this world? 10 milion? 20 million? may be more, just by google up "online shopping blog" there are millions of them turned up and most of them are in blogs site.
Blogging Trends around the world??
According to Dave Technorati, he stated that most bloggers blog about multiple topics. survey has been done by Dave and showed that personal and professional blogs are equally popular with their own style; sincere, conversational, humorous as well as expert. and most of the bloggers openly expose and bring positive impact on their blogs.
Global differences have caused different interest among the bloggers in Asia and Europe. Dave also stated that in Asia, Music will be more popular than politic blog. While personal, lifestyle, and religious topics are less popular in Europe.
